Rome, the Eternal City

The last two days have been spent in Roma, the capital and "eternal" city of Italy. Pilgrims were fortunate enough to to celebrate mass in St Paul's Basilica and have a guided tour of the Vatican Museum. Other highlights included visiting the Catacombs, St Paul's outside the Walls (the tomb of Paul of Tarsus) the Basilica of St Ignatius Loyola and the Holy Steps. Of course, a trip to Roma wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Colosseum and Roman Forum It's certainly been a busy couple of days!! We have one more day in Italy before we leave for Warsaw, the capital of Poland!
